Hospitality for all Alpine Ski Race Workers
In February and March 2010, the
Whistler Weasel Workers
will host alpine race workers from across the skiing world at
its Weasel
House,
located in Creekside, a short distance from the Gondola base. All Games Time alpine volunteers
will be welcome at Weasel House. In fact, we consider all
these alpine race workers to be Whistler Weasel Workers and full members of Weasel House.
Weasel House replaces the Weasel Beer Tent, a long-standing tradition of Whistler races. Weasel House will be open every afternoon during February and late March, 2010. Weasel House will provide an opportunity for members to forge new friendships, to meet national team members and to learn more about ski racing. It will develop camaraderie among ski race workers, generate great memories and further the cause of alpine ski racing across Canada and the USA.
As
our members converge on Whistler in
February and March, Weasel House will be a major force in building a
cohesive team, able to deal with whatever challenge the Whistler
downhill courses can offer.
When it's all over, and we disburse to our homes across
Canada, across the USA
and in so many other countries, we will carry with us great memories of
Weasel House, of fellowship and fraternity and a renewed enthusiasm for
our
work
in
alpine ski racing, at all levels.
Weasel House is a major undertaking for the Whistler Weasel Workers and the Weasel House Committee needs YOUR HELP in making it a success. The Committee needs your ideas, your involvement and your assistance in fund raising. Please help! Please help us engage new sponsors. For information, contact the committee by email at "weaselhouse at weaselworkers.com" (replace the ' at ' with '@').

We thank
our sponsors
for their generous support of
Weasel House.
Please support Weasel House by sponsoring a Keg 'O Beer. Many people and organizations have already pledged to sponsor a Keg. Keg 'O Beer sponsors will receive special recognition and a unique pin bearing the Weasel logo. Remember, a keg sponsorship serves to further the cause of ski racing throughout North America. For more information see, "Why Support Weasel House"
Our membership embraces all alpine race workers who have worked (and will work) on senior ski races in Whistler. If you've worked on a Canadian Championship or a World Cup race in Whistler, then you're a Weasel. All Weasels are asked to help identify potential sponsors, who will receive appropriate recognition and access to Weasel House during February and March 2010. Among other advantages, sponsors will have an opportunity to host afternoon events for their guests and clients at Weasel House. Click here for ways to Help Weasel House.
Through
the generosity of the Resort Municipality of Whistler, Weasel House
will be located adjacent to Whistler's picturesque Alpha Lake, just
past Roland's Restaurant (formerly Hoz's), which is well known to
Whistler alpine skiing volunteers. Click the image at the
right to see the location of Weasel House.
We look forward to seeing old friends and making many new friends at Weasel House during February and March. Weasel House is a private offering of the Whistler Weasel Workers, open to all alpine ski race workers involved in the February and March events. Weasel House will be in operation for most of February and again for about two weeks in late March. See you there!
