Resort Municipality of Whistler  -  The RMOW has provided Weasel House with a very generous financial grant, and has provided us with a wonderful site for our Weasel House. The RMOW has also agreed to provide us electrical power at our Creekside location.  The Whistler Weasel Workers wish to express their great appreciation for this grant and for years of support in many ways. The Cat Rental Store has generously provided high efficiency heating equipment that will keep our alpine ski race workers warm and happy at Weasel House.  A big "Thank you!" to the Cat Rental Store. Rabanco / Allied Waste Systems  - Allied Waste has been providing Washington State residents and businesses with disposal and recycling services since 1927.   Today Allied Waste provides critical solid waste collection and disposal as well as recycling collection and processing services to hundreds of thousands of Washington residents throughout Washington State.  Rabanco has provided Weasel House a generous cash sponsorship. Old Dutch Snack Foods Ltd.   -  The Old Dutch windmill has been a seal of quality that Canadian consumers have trusted for more than 50 years. The windmill represents the care and commitment we have to consistently produce high quality and exciting snacks for loyal Old Dutch snackers.  Old Dutch first started in Winnipeg, Manitoba as a little chip company with a lot of heart. Soon, our tradition of making and delivering great-tasting snacks spread throughout all of Canada.  Old Dutch has provided Weasel House with a very generous supply of snack food, including peanuts and chips of all flavours and varieties.

Whistler-Blackcomb  -  the official alpine skiing venue for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games has allowed the use of it's private logo (right) on our Weasel Wear for 2010.   Whistler-Blackcomb has been a long and steadfast supporter of the Whistler Weasel Workers, for which we are extremely grateful.   In prior years, the support of Whistler-Blackcomb has ranged from providing space for our beer tents to on-hill use of equipment and direct effort by staff.

BC Alpine Ski Association -  BC Alpine undertook to arrange delivery and return of our Canadian flag banners to ski clubs across BC and the rest of Canada, to recieve the autographs and comments and good wishes of young ski racers across Canada.  We expect that these flags will be returned to the ski clubs after the 2010 Olympics and Paralympics.

 

Foley's Candies Ltd. -  Foley's Candies Ltd. has been manufacturing fine quality chocolate for more than twenty-five years in Vancouver, BC. We have grown to be the largest chocolate manufacturer in Western Canada and one of the largest in Canada. Our product line of industrial chocolate ingredients, panned chocolate products and foodservice and private label packaged goods is available across Canada and throughout the US.   Foley's Candias Ltd. have provided Weasel House  a generous supply of their chocloate-covered fuit and almonds, which has been a hit among the Whistler Weasel Workers.

Whistler Water - Canada's Glacial Spring Water. Whistler Water is Canada’s premier private bottled water company and leading beverage manufacturer with facilities located in Burnaby, BC. Whistler Water's glacial water source is located just north of Whistler near Birken, B.C., in a remote alpine location high in the Coastal Mountains. Locally owned and operated, Whistler Water is pleased to be a sponsor of Weasel House and to support our volunteer ski race workers. Whistler Water will supply Weasel House with all of its water needs during its operation in February and March 2010.   In addition, Whistler Water will  donate to Weasel House a cash amount for every bottle of water sold from all their accounts between Squamish and Pemberton from Jan. 1 2010 to March 31 2010.

Whistler Brewing Company   - After a long absence from Whistler, the Whistler Brewing Company has returned to its roots. Reopened in Whistler in November 2009, the Whistler-based brewery produces all of Whistler’s kegged and canned beer, as well as some bottled beer .  Whistler Brewing has a fantastic new brewery in Whistler's Function Junction that offers tours, tastings and light snacks.  Whistler Brewing Company has stepped forward to be the local beer sponsor to the Whistler Weasels; and to be one of only 2 beer brands to be served at the Weasel's Creekside venue.   In addition to its beer sponsorship, Whistler Brewing will donate to Weasel House a cash amount from every pint sold at the brewery up until early February.  Visit the new Whistler Brewing Company, have a pint and support the Weasels.

IGA Marketplace (Whistler)  -  Whistler's largest food market, located in Marketplace Square, at the north end of Whistler Village.  IGA Marketplace provides the exceptional service, prices and quality that a neighbour deserves.  IGA Marketplace has been a long-standing supporter of the Whistler Weasel Workers and has stepped forward to provide various supplies for Weasel House and the 2010 Alpine course workers.

Black Tusk Storage  (Squamish)  -  Black Tusk Storage has generously supplied warehouse storage  to Weasel House for its large inventory of Weasel Wear, and for other storage needs. Corporate Electric  -  Corporate Electric Limited specializes in providing complete electrical installations to the owners, managers, and tenants of commercial and industrial properties in the Lower Mainland and Whistler areas.  Corporate Electric has generously agreed to provide the electrical connections for Weasel House.  Thanks to the RMOW and to Corporate Electric, Weasel House will enjoy more reliable electrical power than at any prior Weasel Beer Tent..

Snack Alliance Inc.  - a Vancouver based national snack food company with product lines that include potato chips, tortilla chips, cheese snacks, corn chips, popcorn, and several other innovative products. Snack Alliance Inc. has provided Weasel House a generous donation of its Riceworks Gourmet Brown Rice Crisps, which have been so popular with the Whistler Weasel Workers that we are almost out of stock.  We first approached Snack Alliance to buy snacks but when they heard the name, "Weasel Workers", they tore up the invoice saying "those guys are the hardest working people in show business".  We thank Snack Alliance for their tasty and nutritious contribution.

Gargoyles Bar and Grill  -  (3357 West Broadway, Vancouver) will partner  with the Whistler Weasel Workers and become Weasel House Vancouver.  We will offer 20 cents from every draft beer sold from Jan. 15th to the end of the Paralympics, to be given to the Weasel Workers to help fund Weasel House.  During the Olympics and Paralympics, we will also provide a live link in our restaurant to the Weasel House tent in Whistler.  A 10% discount will be offered to all Weasel Workers and affiliates during this period.

Whistler Mountain Ski Club  - WMSC is dedicated to the development of able-bodied and paralympic Alpine Ski Racing from entry level ages to Masters in all disciplines including Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G, Downhill and SkiCross. Each season we anticipate more than 200 young racers to actively participate in our programs. The Club is a not-for-profit organization run by parents and associates. WMSC is assisting Weasel House  by providing the convenience of on-line payment for Weasel Wear and Weasel House sponsorships and donations.

Carney's Waste Systems  - serving the Sea to Sky corridor for over 35 years, Carney's provides a complete line of  Waste, Recycling and Compost Services, including landfills in Whistler and Squamish and Transfer Stations in Whistler, Pemberton and Devine.  Carney's is a long-standing supporter of the Whistler Weasel Workers and of alpine ski racing in Canada. For Weasel House, Carney's will provide portable toilets, waste and recycling bins as well as pickup and servicing.  

Roland's Creekside Pub, Beer and Wine Store  - all Weasels remember Hoz's Pub. Well, it's now Rolands Creekside Pub, Beer and Wine Store.  Rolands has continued the old tradition of great pub food and a friendly atmosphere, with notable improvements.  It remains a favorite "watering hole" for Whistler locals, including many Weasels. Situated midway between Creekside Gondola base and Weasel House, Rolands will serve as a very convenient eating place for our 2010 race workers.  Rolands has stepped forward as a very important partner to Weasel House.
