Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 24th for the Annual Weasel Golf Tournament, BBQ and Annual General Meeting. This is a fun tournament for golfers of all abilities from a 5-handicap, to "my swing is my handicap" The format is Texas scramble with a new Weasel twist every year.
Registration Deadline for Golf: April 19, 2010
The tournament takes place at the Squamish Valley Golf and Country Club located on Mamquam Road. Click the above link for driving directions, club and cart rentals.
Tee
off times begin at 11 am and go to 1 pm.
Golf is followed by a BBQ at Owen Carney's
house with the Annual General Meeting of the Weasel Workers. You don't
have to golf to
attend the BBQ and
AGM. Owen's address

Cost
per person is $50 for golf & BBQ, golf
only is $40 and BBQ only is $10 per person. Payment is by cheque or
cash on the day of the tournament.
Registration deadline is April 16th. Book early
as there are
limited spaces
available.

The golf organizing committee is also looking for prize donations. If you would like to help with finding prizes or have a prize to contribute please let us know by e-mail golf@weaselworkers.com.
Last year there were 48 golfers, 21 ladies and 27 men. The coveted "Big Balls" honors were shared by favorites Kerri Benbow and Barb & Les Norman who were ambushed by dark horses, Sonja Lebans, Bill Cuthbert, Larrye Henry, Geoff Lay who came from behind for a 4 under par tie. This is a fun tournament for all. Let's make this Olympic Year Weasel Golf Classic the best yet. Whether or not you can join our tournament, don't miss the AGM and BBQ at Owen's.
