Notes:

  1. All course crew may not be needed for early load every day.  Check with your Crew Chief.
  2. If you are late or get lost / separated from your crew, check with the friendly coordinators who will be located at the Tunnel, which is below the Weasel where the Dave Murray course crosses the Expressway (ski the Expressway north from the Creekside Gondola).
  3. On Fri Feb 27 from 8:00AM through 10AM VANOC will offer its 2010 Orientation in the Beer Tent.  (by invitation only through On Your Mark (on the VANOC Web site)
  4. We are all volunteers. If we treat each other with respect we will all have a positive experience
  5. We must remember that 200 of us are imposing, on a very professional mountain operation that employs over 800 people. We are only here for a short time. They make this area work on a daily basis. TRY TO FIT IN. Whistler Mountain is our partner. Don't be late for the early load.
  6. You may be working around Snow Groomers and Transporters. Eye contact with the driver is a MUST to ensure your safety. These machines swing, backup, and perform some amazing feats but the operator needs to know you are in the clear so be where he/she can see you.
  7. The beer tent is limited to those people who worked that day
  8. We need to keep track of you. To that end Accreditation will need to scan your pass for each day that you report to work. Accreditation will also place individuals that have not been assigned to a crew. Your accreditation pass is your Weasel Worker ID and gives you mountain and course access. We will be using this system to keep track of crews as well as lunches.
  9. Under no circumstances is your Accreditation to be used to gain mountain access on days when you are not working. All scanned Accreditation is compared at each day’s end to the registered list of volunteers for that day. Should access privileges be abused, your pass and all perks will be revoked, and it will reflect badly on the entire organization in the eyes of the mountain.
  10. Have Fun. This is why we do it.
  11. Take photos of your crew for the Weasel Web site.

From all the kids you will be helping - Thanks!
