2008 - Setup and Race Schedule
The
2008 Canadian
National Alpine Ski Championships and the four
subsequent World Cup races are being organized as
one event, with volunteer staffing flowing seamlessly from
one phase of the event to the next.
The Men's and Women's events of the "Canadians" will be held on the "Women's Downhill" course , newly build on Whislter Mountain's "Franz's Run". The Canadians will be followed by two World Cup Men's races on the traditional Dave Murray Downhill course and two World Cup Wonen's races on the new Women's Downhill course.
The World Cup Men's races will start at the traditional Women's Start on the dave Murray Downhill course. Only the lower portion of the course will be developed.
